As January rolls on we are still extremely busy in the Agency, with the last couple of weeks seeing Sporting Agency staff hosting days in all parts of the UK, including Wales, Devon, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and beyond. Gordon has even been away for a week to present at a trade show in Nevada, USA with representatives from Purdey, so his accent is now even more confused!
After 5 months of the season here at home, there will be many tired eyes out there among gamekeepers and those heavily involved in the industry, all of whom I am sure are looking forward to a well-earned rest in March - these guys put in some serious hours! You can see the level of dedication and effort put in by the number and quality of birds offered on our days – they are real unsung heroes in the eyes of all of us here.
Our new bird shooting offerings in Africa are now really starting to gain momentum and we are receiving a lot of enquiries. We are hosting our African partners at the Shooting School for an event next Wednesday, January 23rd 2019, so please do contact us if you are interested in a trip to Africa and would like an invitation to the event. Places are limited, so get in contact as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. The event will consist of some shooting in our Valley, followed by the chance to meet and chat to our African partners about this new opportunity.
On another note we are commencing filming for a new promotional video for the Sporting Agency in the next week or so – so watch this space.
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the season!
