It is lovely to be back! After what felt like a very long time we have been flat out and the team have been busy in all areas of the business. We had a brilliant April and we are looking forward to a wonderful summer. The grounds are up to full speed and we are offering tuition to all levels of experience as well as the hugely popular Handicap Classic.
Looking around, it is clear the demand for our Really Wild Simulated game days is as strong as ever. We have been hosting two Roving Days a week and new dates are being released all the time – do keep an eye on our website to make sure you don’t miss out! Elsewhere the imagination of Robert and the team means that that our CPSA Registered shoots have been very well attended – the next shoot is on Tuesday 18th May and with great prizes it is well worth booking your slot now (please do remember we are a fibre wad only ground).
What else is new…? As you will read further on, Louise Covington has joined us to run our Country Store and she has already made a great impact with some wonderful changes to the design and layout of the country store. Drop in to browse the spring collections and meet Louise. In the Gun Room, it seems like we have had an influx of new and exciting guns and rifles coming into stock and we are very excited about the range of optics that we now have in store.
As you may have seen if you follow us on Instagram, it is now less than 100 days until the shooting season starts! In a blink of an eye, Gordon will be packing up the back of the Defender and setting off to host days. Pleasingly the sense of optimism continues to grow and, whilst it was a very cold April, the shoots and estates are well on their way to being ready for what looks set to be a busy few months!
If you have not yet been able to come and shoot with us or drop into the shop, please do. We would love to see you.
Jonathan
