This special competition celebrated the much anticipated start of the grouse season and ran for four weeks, commencing on 4th August.

Taken as part of any guided round or lesson, this 50 bird competition is made up of two 25 bird sequences; one in the famous J&B Grouse Butt and the other on our new Purdey Grouse Moor.
Our four weekly winners will each receive 250 Gamebore Dark Storm Quad Seal cartridges and a bottle of Taittinger champagne.
Our overall highest score will receive a morning for four people here at the Royal Berkshire enjoying all that our grounds have to offer, followed by lunch in our beautiful Farmhouse.
