A Full Day Shoot
A Full Day with Purdey at the Royal Berkshire Shooting School is the perfect way to really spoil your guests. The day has been formatted to ensure novice and experienced shots have just as much fun and for groups of 45 or larger, you will enjoy exclusive use of the grounds, when shooting.
Our full-day shoot packages are hugely popular and great value, priced from £205.00 + VAT per person for groups of up to 25 guests.
Our all inclusive full-day shoot packages start at £260.00 + VAT per person for groups of 45 or more guests. For groups of 40 to 44 guests, £285.00 + VAT per person, and for groups of 25 to 29 guests, £295.00 + VAT per person. We ask for a minimum booking of 25 guests for the all inclusive packages.

The Itinerary
9.00 – 9.30am
Guests arrive for coffee, bacon rolls, croissants and pastries. Upon arrival guests will be asked whether they are novice or experienced shot, this allows us to split the groups according to ability.
9.45am
Following a safety briefing, guests are introduced to their instructors and divided, according to experience, into groups with a maximum of 5 guests per instructor. The shooting then begins with the emphasis on teaching novice shots how to safely shoot and enjoy hitting their first clays. At the same stage the experienced shots will be enjoy some practice and tuition with their instructor.
12.15pm
Guests return to the lodge for a midday “reload”. This comprises a selection of canapés, cold drinks and tea and coffee. During this break, the instructors confer and new teams are selected so as to include a mixture of abilities.
1.00pm
With the guests refreshed, the competition begins. Shooting a selection of stands located throughout the valley with a finale of each team shooting a flush (50 clays flying overhead in 3-4 minutes.)
2.30pm
Shooting complete, guests return to the lodge where, after a drink, lunch is taken. Then, after cheese and coffee, it’s time for the competition results, when both the top guns and “clay conservationists” are revealed!
4.00pm
Guests depart at their leisure.
